Medieval Dynasty Find & Process Leather

Deutsch English

In Medieval Dynasty, leather is not only an excellent way to earn a lot of money at the beginning of the game, but it is also important later on when you want to make better weapons and clothes.

What it’s about: Throughout Medieval Dynasty you’ll need leather to make weapons, tools, and clothing. We’ll show you different ways to get leather and also tell you what you can make with leather.

How to Get Leather in Medieval Dynasty

There are two ways to get leather quickly – hunt yourself or hire a hunter. We’ll explain what you need to keep in mind for both options.

Hunting: In the beginning, you will have to go hunting yourself to get leather. In the wilds of Medieval Dynasty there are many different animals. Some of them will provide you with leather. Here we have a list for you which animals they are:

Animal Leather
Boar 2
Deer 3
Wisent 3
Bear 4
Moose 5

If you hunt yourself, you also need hunting equipment. The weapon does not matter, but we recommend you craft some wooden spears. You can use them for close and long-range combat. You should also make a stone knife. With it, you can skin the animals to get the meat and the leather.

Tip: Note that some animals will not be so passive and will attack you as soon as you get too close to them.

Hire Hunter: If you don’t want to get your hands dirty, you can hire a hunter. For this, you will need a special building. We have already shown you how to unlock and build the hunting lodge.

The hunter can collect various resources. Among them is leather.

In the hunting lodge, you can hire one of your residents and specify the material he should collect. Here, you specify that he should collect leather. A worker with level 3 in hunting can collect up to 30 leather per day at 100% intensity. For this, however, he also needs some knives.

This is What You Can Craft from Leather

Now that you know how to collect leather, you’ll want to know what you can craft from it. There are three uses for leather. You can make a simple bag with your hands, craft weapons and tools at the smithy’s workbench, or produce clothing and other textiles in the sewing hut.

Simple Bag: Since you don’t have a building for processing leather at the beginning, you can only make one item with it by hand. This is a simple bag. We have already reported in a guide about the simple bag because you can quickly earn a lot of money as a beginner. You only need three pieces of leather, and you can use them to make a bag, which you can sell for 25 coins.

Tools and Weapons: You can make most tools and weapons only with the smithy. You need at least 50 points in the production technique to unlock it. At the smithy, you can make the following items with leather:

  • Crossbow
  • Longbow
  • Recurve bow
  • Torch (you can build it in the workshop)

Clothes and Textiles: Of course, you can also make a lot of clothes. For this, you need the sewing hut, which you unlock with at least 100 points in the production technology. You can use it to make the following items, among others:

  • Vests
  • Tunics
  • Pants
  • Caps and hats
  • Gloves
  • Backpacks
  • Saddles and saddlebags
  • Waterskin
