In the medieval survival game Medieval Dynasty, you establish your own settlement and encounter a building limit. To construct additional buildings, you must increase this limit.
Here's what our guide covers:
What is the building limit: In Medieval Dynasty, you'll eventually reach a point where you can't construct more buildings to expand your settlement. This limitation is determined by the building limit, which starts at 5 at the beginning of your adventure but can be increased to a maximum of 70. If you're playing on the second map, you can build up to 70 structures right from the start.
You can always check your current building limit through the menu under the “Management” section. In co-op mode, all players share this building limit.
The primary purpose of the building limit is to prevent you from rapidly constructing an overly large settlement, adding an element of realism to the game. Additionally, it helps optimize performance by preventing the entire map from being filled with structures.
If you want to build more structures in Medieval Dynasty than your current building limit allows, you'll need to increase it. This process is relatively straightforward but isn't immediately available. You can raise your building limit as you progress through the story by completing your main missions.
Every few chapters, you will receive a task, and upon completion, you'll be rewarded with a higher building limit.
For example, you will receive an increased building limit as a reward for completing the Chapter 7 quest, where you need 2 settlers, must build them houses, and construct 15 buildings. At the end of this quest, you will not only gain 125 reputation but also an increased building limit.
If you want to be able to build more from the beginning, there's another option available to you. In solo mode or as the host in co-op mode, you can access the game customization settings. To do this, press Escape and select “Game Customization.” Here, you can directly increase the building limit from 100% to 200%. Instead of being limited to building only 70 structures, you can construct up to 140 using this setting.
However, keep in mind that using this option in the later stages of the game can affect performance, and the developers recommend keeping it at 100%.
