In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you have the ability to instantly activate the special abilities of your Paradox Pokémon using Booster Energy. We'll show you how to get the rare item.
What is Booster Energy for? Booster Energy is only for Paradox Pokémon that you will encounter sooner or later in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Giving a Paradox Pokémon Booster Energy directly triggers the Protosynthesis and Quark Drive abilities, which are otherwise only activated under certain conditions.
Even though you probably want to go right now to collect booster energy, you must first successfully complete all three tasks given to you in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. In addition, you and your Pokémon should have reached at least level 65 so that you can compete with the Paradox Pokémon on the ground.
Once you have met the requirements, you can head to the bottom of the Great Crater of Paldea. Here you'll then have to enter Lab Zero and complete several cutscenes. Before you take the elevator down toward the final battle, you can find the first booster energy in the rubble. If you want more booster energy, you'll have to catch Paradox Pokémon, each of which has a 5% chance of spawning with booster energy.
However, you can directly tell if a wild Paradox Pokémon is carrying booster energy or not because they will use it at the beginning of a battle. Then, if you successfully catch the Paradox Pokémon, it will carry the booster energy. After you've “played through” the game and the credits are over, Paradox Pokémon spawn all over the crater of Paldea, where you can now farm for booster energy at your leisure.
