Get Ceruledge in Pokémon Violet - Here's how

To get Ceruledge in Pokémon Violet, respectively to evolve Charcadet, some steps are necessary. We explain the individual steps in more detail in the following article.

These are the steps to evolve Charcadet to Ceruledge at a glance:

  • Catch a Charcadet.
  • Collect Sinistea Chips.
  • Get the Malicious Armor.
  • Evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge.

How to Find & Catch Charcadet in Pokémon Violet

The basis for evolving into Ceruledge is that you have a Charcadet. This is a Pokémon of the Fire type. With the use of a normal Pokéball and full health of Charcadet, there is a 20% chance that you can catch the Pokémon. Of course, the chances increase with better balls and lower health.

You can find Charcadet in the following areas:

  • Asado Desert
  • Pokémon League
  • Tagtree Thicket
  • South Province 2-5
  • West Province 1-3
  • East Province 1-3

How to Get Sinistea Chips

After you catch a Charcadet, you should go in search of 10 Sinistea Chips. You will get them when fighting against wild Sinisteas. So find a Sinistea, win in battle against it or capture it. After that, they drop 1–2 shards unconsciously. In total, you need 10 of these Sinistea chips.

Sinistea can be found in the following areas:

  • South Province 6
  • East Province 3

How to Get the Malicious Armor in Pokémon Violet

Once you have collected all 10 Sinistea Chips, you can exchange them for a Malicious Armor. To do this, however, you must first travel to Zapapico (West). Look for a female NPC at the fountain. She is standing between the two mountains.

Trade the Chips for Malicious Armor.

There you can get a Malicious Armor every time for 10 Sinistea Chips. You need this for the further development of Charcadet to Ceruledge.

Evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge

If you have the Malicious Armor and the Charcadet, you're ready to go. Simply apply the Malicious Armor to the Charcadet in your inventory, and it will start evolving into Ceruledge. This will give you the unique Pokémon from the Violet Edition.

Ceruledge is a Pokémon of the Fire and Ghost type. It stands out because of its special attack Bitter Blade. With it, you can not only deal damage when attacking but also get half of the damage back as health points.
