In our guide to the survival game Raft, we will show you how to find Caravan Town and how to find all the treasures and information. For this, you have to complete x tasks, which we will guide you through step by step
To get to Caravan Town, the fourth destination of Raft's story, you need the code found in Relay Station 2, on Balboa Island. Perched on a cliff protruding from the water, Caravan Town is a motley collection of ramshackle trailers, or caravans, connected to the various levels of the cliff by ladders and zip lines. You should know this beforehand: On Caravan Town you sometimes have to fight, which is why we recommend that you have at least these items with you:

But you should also have enough space in your inventory for loot from the island.
You have to solve these tasks in Caravan Town:
Once you have arrived at Caravan Town, you can drop anchor near the docks and enter the island via the docks. You won't find much here yet, except for a well with some water in it.
From now on, the White Screecher Bird should also notice you and start following you. If you don't kill him, he'll keep doing this for the entire time you're on the island, throwing rocks at your head while flying at you and dropping the rock on you.
Since he's in the air most of the time, you'll need to take him out in the air as well. To do this, go straight to the docks, waiting for the White Screecher Bird to fly towards you, and shoot him with a bow and arrow. After that, run right up to him and under him, causing him to drop the stone behind you. You then have to do this procedure until the old bird gives up the spoon.
At the docks, you will find a yellow building with "Port Office" written on it, where you will already find the first part of the battery charger.
You can then access the caravans via ladders or stairs and search them. In the yellow tag, you will then find a note in which "Detto" talks about somehow getting rid of the water. Climb further up to the top, near which you hear a chortle. Here you can now try to catch a clucker (like a chicken).
Then work your way back up until you see a blue and white trailer with a blue ladder, in which you will find the second battery charger part. In the trailer right next to it, you will find another note.
From the caravan, you have to go up again to a kind of marketplace where the caravans are intertwined with twisted trees. In the cannery, you will find another note.
If you look around you will see a green trailer and a yellow-green trailer standing on a small platform. Using the ladder, you will get upstairs to the caravans where you will find the third and final battery charger part. Once you have this, you can search all the caravans again and collect loot if necessary.
Now go to the trailer that has been painted red on top and blue on bottom, you can see it on the picture above the heading to the right of the plateau. When you get to the trailer, walk around it until you are standing at the back. There you are looking for a hand water pump, once you have found it you drop it down.
A mini-puzzle will open in which you have to redirect pipes so that the water can get through each pipe to fill the fountain at the bottom.
For this, you have to pump the water, follow it and align the pipes so that the water can flow through. You may have to repeat this several times until all pipes are correctly aligned. If you have managed to align all the tubes correctly, you will receive the first zip line part and can go back to the market.
If you look around the marketplace you will notice a ramp to a plateau with trailers and a red flag. Go upstairs and into the trailer. Here you will later be able to build the zip line. On the middle table, in the trailer, you will find the next note. On the opposite side of the trailer you will find a ladder that leads down and from there to a set of stairs that will take you to a bridge that is missing some planks.
You can get over the broken bridge by jumping over the holes in the missing boards. When you get to the other side, you will see a colorful staircase below you, which you can jump down. You can find more loot in the buildings below you. Once you've scammed everything, go to the bike, which is connected to a red pipe that leads into the water.
To get the second zip line piece you have to dive. Since you're about to fight a Poison Buffer directly in the water, you should be in full health and armed. If you are both then follow the red pipe into the water until you encounter the poison buffer. You can kill him by staying above him and hitting him with your arrows about 4-5 times. Keep your distance if it explodes as it can kill you. Once he's done, collect his loot, especially Explosive Goo (you'll need it later), and go back to the surface to get some oxygen.
With enough oxygen, we go back into the water, always along the red tube. This will then bring you to three buildings where you can recharge your oxygen whenever you need it. You can easily find them again by swimming back and forth along the pipe.
Along the red pipe, you'll bump into a few more Poison Buffers, which you'll do just like the first one. Only attack one at a time.
At the end of the red pipe you will receive the infirmary key, the second zip line piece and the metal detector blueprint.
You don't have to return directly to the surface after receiving your reward, but you can also loot the area first and, if necessary, deal with further poison buffers. You can find large amounts of scrap, metal and other resources here. Bruce (the shark) won't bother you.
When you're done looting, you have to go back to the trailer with the red flag. Make sure you have at least one unit of explosive powder with you when you do this, as you will need this for the next step. If you don't have one with you, you'll need to go back to your raft and craft it. To do this, you put Explosive Goo, which you got by looting the completed poison buffers, into a smelter. Once you've made enough explosive powder, head back to the trailer with the red flag.
Once you get to the trailer with the red flag, cross the broken bridge one more time, but keep going to the device on a rocket where you'll find a note. Using the blast powder, shoot the rocket into the air, which will explode there, dropping a small piece of debris and landing on the tiny island in front of you.
Now you jump into the water below you and swim to the sunken containers where you climb up. There you will find the Major Tom doll with the last zip line piece on his back and a blueprint for fireworks.
After collecting everything, go back to the trailer with the red flag, where you assemble all the parts of the zip line, which gives you a zip line tool, as well as the zip line tool blueprint and the blueprint for the zip line brings in.
The Zip-Line Tool now gives you access to the Mayor's Trailer and the Infirmary, which is the first place you go to in order to get the Mayor's Chest Key. To use the zip-line, place the zip-line tool in one of your body slots at the bottom of your inventory, then climb onto the roof of the trailer, which will take you to the infirmary.
There are four giant pigs hostile to you in the infirmary. So that you don't get your lights blown out by them, it's better to shoot them from a safe distance with a bow and arrow.
There is also a swarm of bees in the area that you can catch with the packed net. Of course, the bees also have beehives with honeycombs that you can capture.
Once you've beaten up the pigs and caught the bees and bagged their items, you enter the infirmary.
In the infirmary, first, go left into the room with the white table where you will find two healing ointments, then climb up the ladder that is also in this room. There you are now in front of a caravan with a red door, which you can open with the infirmary key. In this room, you will find a good healing ointment, the mayor's chest key, and another note.
Exit the room and use the ramp on the far right, upstairs into a room where you'll find another good healing ointment and some plastic. Go back to the trailer with the red door and then up the leftmost ramp to find more plastic. You can come back by going back to the trailer with the red door again and going down the middle ramp there.
Now go to the zip line and "drive" it back to the trailer with the red flag.
On the roof of the trailer with the red flag, look for a trailer with a giant "Mayor" sign and take the corresponding zip line down.
Once there, go around the trailer where you'll find a huge open area that represents the mayor's office. Now go to the yellow workbench in this area on the back left and assemble the dreo battery charger parts there, which will unlock the blueprint for the battery charger. If you like, you can also grab the mayor's hat and put it on.
With your nice new hat on, you can now go to the black mayor's chest in the back of the room and open it with the mayor's chest key. In the chest, you will then find the blueprint for the engine control and the radio code for your next target: Tangaroa.
On the top ledge above the mayor's desk, you'll find another suitcase with some loot inside. Once you've done everything, you can get back on your raft and make your way to Tangaroa.
