In Raft you need many resources, but there is hardly a resource you need more often than vine goo, which you make from seaweed. In this short guide, we'll show you where to find the material and how to make the goo.
What's it about: Vine goo is one of the raw materials most often used in Raft. To make sure you always have plenty of it, we'll show you everything you need to know:
Find seaweed for crafting: Before you can craft the goo at all, you have to find and mine the original material. This resource is called seaweed, and you can find it off small and large islands. To do this, simply dive into the reefs and look for long green tree-like plants. You can then mine the seaweed at a certain place on the plant.
How to craft vine goo from seawead: To make the desired material from the seaweed now, you need to build a smelter, add boards and finally add the seaweed. After 45 seconds, you can take out your vine goo and use it.
Can you find the goo? Vine goo is not only available in Raft as a result of your crafting skills, you can also find it. Just look out for abandoned rafts floating over the water on the high seas or loot the crates at the rare shipwreck or plane islands, as well as story islands. For all these locations, you can find our guide list here.
