In the survival game Smalland, in which you play on a miniature scale, in the role of an elf, you can use fireflies to craft and build equipment or decorations. These are then particularly suitable for the night. Our guide shows you where you can find fireflies.
What this guide is about: If you don't want to craft the better torch by using the firefly juice, you will have to go hunting for fireflies at the latest when you want to tame a damselfly (small dragonfly).
Fireflies stay in the Oak forest, which is the area, or biome, where you started the game. You won't be able to find them within the special biomes. It should be clear to everyone that the little glow bugs appear only at night and disappear directly at the first rays of the sun. So wait until it is night and then go to the Oak forest. From a distance, you will see small flying green glowing dots, which are not fireflies, but a hint that they are nearby, so walking towards them is best. But beware of where you step in the dark.

If you get closer to the supposed fireflies, they will disappear right before your eyes. Once this happens, you have to look around to see the real fireflies, which you can recognize by their lights and the fact that they are still there. You can shoot them from the ground with a bow and arrow or wait for the fireflies to get close to the ground and then finish them off with another weapon. The fireflies have about as much life as a ladybug, so they are pretty easy to defeat. You will receive one firefly juice from one defeated firefly.
Damselfly treats: As mentioned above, you can use firefly juice to cook up the treat to tame the damselfly.
Firefly Torch: The firefly torch has the same purpose as the other torch: to bring light into the darkness. But it also has the advantage of lasting longer than the regular torch. You get the recipe after collecting the firefly juice.
Lamps for your base: You can also build lamps for decoration and choose between a floor lamp and a wall lamp, which you can place after crafting them so that your base is nicely illuminated in the dark.
