To advance in the survival game Smalland, you'll have to keep searching for new materials, such as silk, ingredients, and resources that you can use to improve your equipment. Our guide will show you where to find silk, how to mine it, and what dangers to watch out for.
What this Smalland-Guide is about: You need silk not only to create certain armor but also if you want to create new better weapons. Unlike fibers or wood, you can only mine silk in certain areas of the map.
Silk can be found exactly where you can find spiders, for example: in the sewage system near Nok and in the swamp near Lisandra. We have marked both places on the map below.
To mine silk, you need to complete a few steps. We will help you.
You require a special tool to mine silk at all: at least the flint scissors. You can craft them from the following materials at the stone cutter:
Once you got the Flint Scissors in your possession, you can go out to find Silk.
The spiders in Smalland are very aggressive and will attack at first sight. Since spiders are weak against blade damage, you should equip yourself with a sword. If you don't want to be attacked, you can activate the peaceful mode, in which the aggressive animals will attack you only after you attacked them.

If you stick to the locations described above, you will quickly come across spider cocoons. If you work on them with the flint scissors, you can collect the silk at the end. Just hold down the [F] key, and it will all be collected at once if you can't grab the silk.
