Poppy Flowers in Smalland
If you want to collect nectar from poppy flowers, you have to be careful and beware of the bees that swarm around the meadows. Bees are aggressive contemporaries that will attack you in a group, which makes it harder to defend yourself, but also ants will make your life difficult here. If you plan to harvest the nectar at night, the night version of the grasshopper, which is also aggressive, will try to prevent you from doing so. So it's best to equip yourself with weapons and good armor.

To harvest nectar at all, you need at least a wooden axe or a better tool. You can craft the wooden axe on a workbench quite early in the game with the following materials:
The better your crafted tool is, the faster you can cut down the poppy flowers and the less damage your tool will receive from being used.
With the help of the wooden axe, or a better tool, you can now go to the flower meadow, where you can cut down the poppy flowers. Afterward, collect all resources, among which the nectar is.
