A new cosmetic DLC for Hunt Showdown called The Wolf at The Door is coming soon. We think that this weapon pack brings some of the coolest skins into play.

Skin replenishment: A new Hunt Showdown DLC is in the starting blocks and brings four cool new weapon skins. As always, this is completely optional and offers no advantages. But that's not entirely true, because with the "Wolf at the Door" DLC you are sure to be one of the coolest hunters in the bayou!

These are the skins of the "The Wolf at The Door" DLC

First mandatory purchase? For some there cannot be enough skins in Hunt Showdown, for others there are already too many. We say that both sides are partly right and that some skins are very worthwhile, but others are rather crap.

Hunt Showdown's latest DLC, wonderfully named The Wolf at The Door, belongs to the first category. The 4 included weapons, all of which are thematically based on a wolf or its habitat, look absolutely fantastic:

  1. Rougarou (Mosin Nagant Obrez)
  2. First bite (Lebel 1886 Marksman)
  3. Blood Moon (Crown & King Auto-5)
  4. Midnight Howl (Caldwell Conversion Uppercut)

Something for everyone: With this line-up, the new Hunt Showdown DLC offers just the right thing for all players. There are weapons for long, short and medium distances. The Crown & King and Caldwell Uppercut can of course be perfectly combined.

Personally, we would have preferred a legendary skin for the large version of the Mosin instead of the Lebel 1886. In our test of the two weapons, there was a clear winner.
The Wolf at The Door will be released for Hunt Showdown on April 28th, 2021, but there is currently no price. Here you get to the Steam Shop.
