Escape From Tarkov is getting new Twitch Drops this Christmas too. Guided.news shows you what to expect, when it starts and how you can get the drops.

What are Twitch Drops? The drops are objects or items that are distributed by watching Twitch. As a viewer, you just have to watch the right channels and your watch time gives you the appropriate items for the respective game.

Tarkov Twitch-Drops 2021: What you need to know

What's in the drops? Exactly what content you will get when you watch your favorite streamers on Twitch is not yet known. Developer Battlestate Games promises to announce this before the start of the Twitch Drops campaign.

So far it is only known that there will be various consumables, weapons, armor and rare items.

When do the Twitch Drops start? The Escape From Tarkov Twitch Drops will be launched on December 28, 2021. The campaign ends on January 8th, 2022.

This gives you almost two weeks to get hold of all the items in the campaign. On some days, however, you may have to use an alternative stream. A list on the official website of the developer shows which stream activated the Twitch drops and when (via escapefromtarkov.com).

How do you get the drops? In order to receive the Twitch drops for Escape From Tarkov at all, you have to connect your Tarkov account to Twitch. But this is simpler than you might think:

  1. Log into the developer's website.
  2. Click on your profile and look for the point "Link account with Twitch" (via escapefromtarkov.com)
  3. A redirect sends you to Twitch, log in here and click "authorize".
  4. Return to the developers' website. "XYZ successfully connected" should appear here.

Items will then be added to your Twitch inventory at regular intervals. The duration of these intervals is not exactly described, but it should be one to three hours.
