The new 9-week event “Devil's Moon” in Hunt Showdown will already start next week and will once again bring a lot to do for all hunters. Crytek has also released a matching trailer, we have all the info!

This is what's going on: As with the last event in Hunt Showdown “Serpent Moon” in the summer, the winter event “Devil's Moon” also runs over a long period of time and thus concludes the Lunae Diaboli saga. In total, you have 9 weeks to grab all the rewards in the event. In the process, the event will also add a new, interesting feature; 3 pacts fighting for power that you can join. We'll tell you what you need to know.

  • The event will start on December 14, 2022.
  • The event will end on February 14, 2023.

All New Content in the Devil's Moon Event of Hunt Showdown.

The Devil's Moon event not only brings new weapons but also an exciting new feature. Three factions or pacts fight for supremacy during the event, and you have to commit to one of these pacts in each round:

  • Infernal Pact
  • Grounded Pact
  • Lunar Pact

This is what the choice of pacts will bring you: During the event, you'll earn event points in a match to advance the event's typical progress bar. However, you will also receive 1 Pledge Mark in the game for every 50 event points earned, of which you can collect 3 per round. With these Pledge Marks, you can unlock various pact bonuses in the game that count for the current round:

  • Infernal Pact
    • One Pledge Mark: Fire Eater Perk – When a life bar is burned, it is instantly restored.
    • Four Pledge Marks: Flame Touched Perk – You can't start burning, but moving through fire will still cause you to lose life bars very slowly.
  • Grounded Pact
    • One Pledge Mark: Death Cheat Perk – You don't lose your fighter if you fail to escape.
    • Four Pledge Marks: Shadow Perk – Monsters can't see you anymore. But they can still hear you.
  • Lunar Pact
    • One Pledge Mark: Relentless Perk – You don't lose life bars when you are defeated.
    • Four Pledge Marks: Indomitable Perk – You always regenerate life until your life bars are all full.

Event points are gained from regular play. That is, finding clues, eliminating bosses or players, and looting soul traps that are only available during the event period.

You can sacrifice the Pledge Marks to the different pacts at certain places on the map. Just use the right container for that.

Of course, as in every other Hunt Showdown event, there are new weapon skins. In the trailer, which you can see at the top of the article, 4 of them have already been presented. Whether more weapon skins will find their way into the game in the 9-week event is currently unknown.

  • Winfield M1876 Centennial Trauma
  • Martini Henry Ironside
  • Springfield M1892 Krag
  • Lemat Mark II Carbine
