Sons of the Forest will be released in a few days for the PC in the Early Access version, and developer Endnight Games shows us a glimpse of the multiplayer mode on IGN’s YouTube channel. But it makes the wait all the more difficult.
This is what’s going on: As with the last trailers and gameplay videos, the latest trailer has also been published on the YouTube channel of the gaming magazine IGN. This is a multiplayer trailer that highlights the interaction in Sons of the Forest and really makes you want more.
Multiplayer Trailer for Sons of The Forest Shows Cosy Base Building, Many Enemies, and Mysterious Caves
The multiplayer trailer, which is almost 2 minutes long, begins leisurely and shows players using a GPS device to find a place to camp. Then they start to build a base. Here it becomes clear once again how Endnight Games has reworked base building. You no longer build from blueprints but manually place your resources where they belong.
The NPC companion Kelvin will also be in the multiplayer and support the players. We have presented more details about the NPC companions in another article.
Of course, the enemies must not be missing in The Forest or Sons of the Forest. As in the first part, they sometimes attack you in larger groups. You have to watch out for the nasty mutants, who can easily tear down your base.
At the end of the trailer, we see how the player opens an iron door before the logo ends the trailer. So we can expect some secrets in the sequel that will bring us closer to the island’s history.
