Valheim & Mods: For almost exactly a month, Valheim has been enchanting players all over the world. The community is gigantic and so it is not surprising that there are resourceful modders in it. They made cool modifications even without official mod support.

No support? Unfortunately, the team behind Valheim said early on that they didn't want to support the modding scene with official tools. However, they will not put a stop to the whole thing, which results in these great works:

1. Valheim Creative Mode

This modification is exactly what its name promises. The Valheim Creative Mod can best be compared with the Minecraft Creative Mode. You can choose to fly or take no damage. Of course, there are also no structural limits!

2. Expert Mode Mod

You can expect a tough adventure in this mod. The Valheim Expert Mod reduces the damage to all your weapons as well as your armor value. In return, opponents become stronger.

• 0-star opponents become 1-star opponents
• 1-star opponents to 2-star opponents
• 2-star opponents to 3-star opponents
• and so on

3. Valheim Plus

This is the most downloaded mod so far. We have a detailed article only about Valheim Plus and its features! The short version is that this mod lets you customize all the stats of your character and the game world.

The feature that attracted most players is likely to be the new building mechanics:

• Objects that have been placed can be moved without being torn off.
• There are new components.
• Objects can be placed more precisely

4. Map Sync Mod

This modification for Valheim only affects multiplayer. With their help, you can share all your progress in exploring the world with all players. Once all players have joined, you can press "F10" as the host. So everyone gets the same progress.

However, the Map Sync Mod for Valheim is client-side. This means that every participant must have it installed.

5. Unrestricted Portals

There is an incredible number of different raw materials in Valheim. Transporting them all through the various biomes and/or across the ocean can be a pain. The Unrestricted Portals Mod makes it all easier. From now on you can transport all items through all portals.
