On February 15, Season 2 of Warzone 2 and with it DMZ started and players can look forward to the new map Ashika Island. But where can players actually spawn? We have the answer.
Here’s the deal: We studied the new map Ashika Island very closely in the first hours after the Season 2 update of DMZ. We took a close look at the player spawns and found a total of six different spawn points on Ashika Island in over 80 attempts, which we present to you here.

Where are the spawn points? As mentioned above, we were able to locate six player spawns. Not surprisingly, they are all located on the coast and are evenly distributed along all points of the compass.
- Beach Club
- Town Center
- Lighthouse north of Oganikku Farms
- Water Treatment (north, center of the map)
- Shipwreck
- Port Ashika
What’s the point of knowing this? Once you know all the spawn points on the Ashika Island DMZ map, you can better react to the rest of the players in your match. You know where you are, but more importantly, you know who is near you. So you can take out enemies right at the start of a match. Or you can estimate which targets they will attack first and ambush them there.
According to our calculations, Ashika Island only has a maximum of 18 players, or six three-man squads, due to its size. For comparison, on Al Mazrah you’ll find up to 66 players in 22 three-man squads. We also have a map with the spawns on Al Mazrah for you!
