How to Revive Your Team in Dark and Darker
Once you know how to bring your friends back to life, you will hardly have any problems. That’s why we’ll show you step-by-step how to revive your mates.
Resurrection Requirements: To revive a fallen comrade, collect the player’s “Soul Heart.” You can only search your friend’s body and remove the chest armor. Then you can collect the player’s Soul Heart.
Find an Altar of Sacrifice in Dark and Darker
Once you have collected your mate’s Soul Heart, you need to search for an Altar of Sacrifice. This is an altar with a white orb floating above it. There is one exception to this rule: you don’t have to find this shrine. We’ll tell you about it at the end of the article.
Note that when resurrecting at an Altar of Sacrifice, you must sacrifice a portion of your health in order for your Mate to resurrect.
Here’s how resurrection works:
- Collect the Soul Heart of a fallen player by removing the chest plate and searching the body.
- Go to an Altar of Sacrifice.
- Revive the player with your own Health Points.

Revive Teammate as Cleric – How to do it
As mentioned before, there is one exception. If you play as a Cleric, one of the support classes, you can resurrect a player without the Altar of Sacrifice. For this, you need the level 8 Resurrection Spell. This costs 8 points to equip.
However, the Soul Heart must be in the body or inventory of the fallen player when resurrecting.
