In addition to the relatively common Silver Bottle Caps, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet also offer the much rarer and more valuable Golden Bottle Caps. We'll show you how to get them.
The Golden Bottle Caps in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are not exactly easy to get. Unlike the normal Silver Bottle Caps that you regularly get from Five and Six Star Tera Raids, the Golden Bottle Caps are very rare and can only be found in a few places. In our guide we will show you where you can collect Golden Bottle Caps.
The first way to get a Golden Bottle Cap is to buy it. With a little (or rather a lot of) luck, you will be offered a Golden Bottle Cap at the Puerto Marinedo Auction House. However, the chance of getting one is very small. Nevertheless, you should check the auctions regularly to make sure you don't miss out on such an opportunity.
But even if luck is with you and you are offered a Golden Bottle Cap, you should be prepared for a handsome price. A single Golden Bottle Cap can fetch up to 100,000 Pokédollars and even more.

Another opportunity to get a Golden Bottle Cap sometimes comes after the big tournament at the end of the game, where you have to compete against numerous other trainers. Again, the probability of getting the coveted reward is very low. Nevertheless, it is an additional option, which also provides more entertainment than constantly resetting the bids in the auction.
You need the Silver Bottle Caps, as well as the Golden Bottle Caps, in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for the Hyper Training. With this training you can improve the IV-Stats of your Pokémon. In principle, these stats, which are automatically set as soon as the game generates a Pokémon, are always fixed.
With Bottle Caps, however, the stats can be increased further. Silver Bottle Caps allow you to increase any single IV-Stat to its maximum, and a Gold Bottle Cap instantly maximises all IV-Stats. So it is quite justified that these items are so rare.
To use Silver or Gold Bottle Caps, the corresponding Pokémon must have reached level 50. You must then increase the IV-Stats from an NPC in Frigmonta. He waits next to a Rexblisar near the Pokémon Center.
