This is where you have to look: The pistol is actually pretty easy to reach in Sons of The Forest. You don’t have to explore miles of caves or kill dozens of enemies for it. Instead, you’ll have to swim out to the open sea, where nasty sharks are just waiting to snack you out of existence.
The exact location is on the west of the map, opposite the large beach and bay. You can check the location on our specially measured and revealed map. There is an orange life raft floating in this bay. You need to get there. In single player, you should definitely set a save point beforehand. It took us three tries to make it to the life raft alive. But once you are there, you can pick up the pistol, some ammo and other items:

There are attachments for the pistol – But where?
You can find a rail for the pistol in two places in the game world. First, on the beach, right by the life raft, there is a small camp where you can find a corpse and a radio. Here you will also get the rail for the pistol. Alternatively, you can go to the landed and overgrown helicopter on the west side of the map. Around the helicopter, there are several military crates where you can also find a rail.
