Well, have you bought your own house or apartment in Starfield and now you're looking for it? In this guide, you'll learn the locations of all the purchasable properties in the space role-playing game - and where exactly they can be purchased.
Here's the deal: Bethesda's Starfield has the peculiarity, or bad habit, of selling you houses without revealing their locations. This is annoying, because not only are you forced to buy a pig in a poke, but you also always have to search a considerably large city for your own home.
Fortunately, this guide shows you the locations of all houses in Starfield that can be purchased with cash or by completing large quest series. Also, you'll find out who to contact and how much you'll have to pay for each house or apartment.
Where to Find Your House in Starfield
A total of nine properties for (almost) every budget serve the housing in Starfield. The prices range from a moderate 6,500 credits for a low class apartment to 235,000 credits for an absolute dream home with luxury amenities. Below we take a look at the individual properties.
Location of the The Well Apartment (New Atlantis)
An apartment on the lower deck is affordable. (Starfield)
What? On the lower deck of New Atlantis, which is more or less the city's run-down slum, there is a small apartment for sale. Considering where this place is located, its condition is quite acceptable, as can be seen in the picture above.
Where? Take the transit car in the spaceport of New Atlantis to the Mast District and orient yourself by the pictures below.
How? Become a citizen of the United Colonies by completing the Vanguard quest series. Then talk to the realtor Zora from Aphelion Reality in New Atlantis. She will give you the property for 30,000 credits.
Location of the Midtown Apartment in Akila City
Would you like an unfurnished room in the slums of Akila City? I don't think so, do you? (Starfield)
What? From the outside, the Midtown Apartment basically looks like the colonial mansion in the same city (see below). But it's just an apartment, that is, a single room. What's more, it's located in the slum of Akila City and is unfurnished. A challenge for gifted decorators?
Where? Go to the Cheyenne system and there to the planet Akila. Land in Akila City and then orient yourself by the pictures below.
How? Talk to the broker Ngodup (that's his real name) in front of the colonial villa in Akila City. We describe how to get there in the corresponding entry below. The poor room will cost you an outrageous 45,000 credits.
Location of the Constellation Apartment in New Atlantis
Housing is a big deal at Constellation. And you don't even have to pay anything for this fancy room. (Starfield)
What? The members of Constellation do have good taste, as they prove with this nobly furnished room. However, it is located directly in the lodge, so there is only limited privacy here. Unlike most other rooms or homes, the room in Constellation HQ is not customizable.
Where? Take the transit car in the spaceport of New Atlantis to the Mast District and orient yourself by the pictures below.
How? Join Constellation and you get this room. Not that you have a choice here.
Your parents' pad is in Pioneer Tower in New Atlantis' residential district. It's not directly yours, but oh well. (Starfield)
What? Everybody has parents, and your alter ego is no exception. Your dad and mom move into a fancy apartment in Pioneer Tower in New Atlantis. As you progress through the main story, they'll gift you with a spacesuit and a special pistol (Sir Livingstone's pistol) from Earth.
Where? In the spaceport of New Atlantis, take the transit car to the residential district and orient yourself by the pictures below.
How? The condition for unlocking this abode is to select the Kid's Stuff property in the character editor.
Location of the Premium Sleepcrate in Neon
If you're looking for something more affordable in neon, the Premium Sleepcrate is a good choice. (Starfield)
What? The Premium Sleepcrate is the more or less cheap alternative if you want to settle down in Neon. Of course, that's why it's also located in the Ebbside district, which isn't exactly the very best place to live. The single room is quite small, but somewhere also better than nothing.
Where? Travel to Neon on the planet Volii Alpha in the Volii system and orient yourself by the pictures below.
How? Talk to Izna Sundaraman, who is standing very close to the Sleepcrate. She will charge you 6,500 credits for the room.
Location of the Sky Suite in Neon
The Neon Penthouse is exactly what it sounds like. (Starfield)
What? The Sky Suite in Neon is the most expensive property in Starfield, so you can expect a lot of luxury and comfort from it.
Where? Travel to Neon on the planet Volii Alpha in the Volii system. After entering the city (you have to cross a long bridge first) orient yourself by the pictures below.
How? Talk to the bartender of the Astral Lounge, Boone Morgan, in the Trade Tower. The latter is far to the east when you enter the Neon; he can't be missed at all. You should have a lot of credits with you before you ask Morgan for the Sky Suite: 235,000 credits on the counter.
Location of the Penthouse in Mercury Tower (New Atlantis)
For the Penhouse in Mercury Tower you have to play through the Vanguard Quest series. (Starfield)
What? In the Mercury Tower of New Atlantis there is a 4-room penthouse with a noble interior. It can't be entered easily and is unlocked by progressing through the game.
Where? Take the transit car to the residential district in the spaceport of New Atlantis and orient yourself by the pictures below.
How? To get this penthouse, you need to complete the Vanguard quest series and be a citizen of the United Colonies. You can then pick up the keys from Zora of Aphelion Reality in New Atlantis.
Location of the Core Residence in Akila City
The Core Residence is located in Akila City right next to the government building. And yes, this is what a mansion looks like in Akila. (Starfield)
What? This pile of stones in Akila City doesn't look like a mansion, but you buy what's on it. And because it's a mansion, it's also near the government building.
Where? Go to the Cheyenne system and land in Akila City on the planet Akila. Enter the city and orient yourself by the pictures below.
How? Talk to the realtor Ngodup right in front of the colonial villa. He wants 78,000 credits from you for the house.
Location of the Dreamhouse on Nesoi
Probably Starfield's most luxurious home, the Dream House doesn't deserve the name, at least from the outside.
What? Do you remember Vladimir's luxury hut? This building is of the same type (so incredibly decadent) and accordingly expensive. The location is a peaceful planet, but it is not completely safe because of poisonous plants.
Where? The dream house is located under two conditions (see below) on the planet Nesoi in the Olympus system.
How? You can only buy the Dream House if you have selected the Dream House property in the character editor and have visited the space station The Eye in the story (Constellation quest series). The building will cost you a whopping 125,000 credits.
