During the course of Stray's story, you'll get to the point where you have to give the robot Elliot a Poncho to warm him up. Only then will he help you fix the Broken Tracker. We show you in our guide how to get the Poncho.
To get the Poncho for the freezing robot Elliot, you have to follow a few steps:
Cause chaos! In order to buy the required Electric Cable from the Shop, you need a Super Spirit Detergent as payment. Of course, you can get it in the laundry, but you can't get into it for the time being. You have to create some chaos first so that the owner opens the shop door.
Now get the Detergent: When you are in the laundromat, the Detergent is on the table directly to the left of the door. Collect it, you won't find much else in the store.
Buy the cable: With the Detergent, you can now go to the merchant that you will find to the right of the main square (where you met the guard). The trader offers you several items for sale, but only one Electric Cable. You can now exchange the Electric Cable for the Detergent. Then you look for Grandma, who has set up her small camp a few corridors further.
Get the Poncho: Once you have found Grandma, you can give her the cable and she will knit you a warm Poncho with it.
Where is Elliot located? When you enter the slums for the second time as part of Stray's story, you will soon come to Seamus' father Doc's laboratory. There you will discover the Broken Tracker. Then go to Elliot's house, which is on the first floor near Grandmas Place (to the right of the two robots with their blankets). The house has a red door.
Use the Poncho: Well, you can't use it yourself, but you can give the Poncho to Elliot. Once you give Elliot the Poncho, he will repair the tracker for you. Now you bring the tracker to Seamus so that he opens the gate to a new area for you. Now you can progress further in Stray's story and find an additional memory for B-12.
