In Vampire ARPG V Rising, you need Whetstones to craft various gadgets or equipment. We tell you in our guide how to make or find Whetstones.
These Are Whetstones: Whetstones are important resources in V-Rising and are required early in the game. You can’t make them that easily, but you can find them. You need the whetstones for various pieces of equipment, but also for equipment such as the grinder.
In short:
- Whetstones can be found in various camps throughout the game world.
- You can make Whetstones yourself. You have to defeat a V-Blood Boss to do this.
This is where you can find Whetstones in V Rising
Whetstone Locations: Finding Whetstones in V Rising is easier than you think. Uncover the map a bit by exploring the area, ideally in your wolf form. Various yellow marked zones will then be displayed on the map. These are bandit camps, mines, or other interesting places. If you hover over it with the mouse, you can also see which objects can be found there, including Whetstones.
So just keep your eyes open in the ARPG-Steam-Hit V Rising, and you will often find the Whetstones in boxes or chests in such camps.
How to Craft Whetstones in V Rising
Not only can you find Whetstones, but you can also craft them yourself in your base. But first, you have to defeat one of the V-Blood bosses in order to unlock the corresponding recipe.
Find and Defeat Grayson the Armourer
To unlock the grinding stone recipe, you need to hunt Grayson the Armourer. To do this, open your V-Blood tab (K), scroll up to the level 27 boss and follow his trail. You will find him in the Farbane Woods in the northwest, near the Bandit Armory.
Once you have defeated Grayson, you will receive a couple of recipes for your castle, as well as another blood ability, but also the recipe for making whetstones.
Build Furnace and Produce Whetstones
In your base, you now need your furnace. But you should already have built it for 480 stones and 60 copper ore. You can now produce 2 whetstones from 12 stone dust and 1 copper ingot in the furnace itself. The process takes about 1 minute.
