In the Coop Vampire ARPG V Rising you have the opportunity to keep your own NPC Servants who collect resources for you. We tell you how this feature works and what you need for it.
These are Servants in V Rising
In V Rising, at a certain point in the game, you have the option to get multiple Servants for your base. Similar to the survival MMO Conan Exiles, you can equip and command them yourself. They then collect resources for you even when you are offline.
That’s How you Get your Servants
In order to get Servants, you must have progressed so far with the “tutorial” that you are supposed to build the Servant Coffin. For this you need:
- 16 Planks
- 8 Copper Bars
- 1 Greater Blood Essence
As a reward, you will now receive the Dominating Presence ability. If you use this, you go into a dominant position and get another ability. You can use this ability on any humanoid creature with at least 30% life points, except for bosses and elite opponents. The humanoid is then under your control, but will do nothing for now except follow you blindly.
Your task now is to go back to your base and put the Servant in the Servants Coffin. You wait a moment, and the former human is already your obeying minion.
You can now do this with your Servants: Now you can interact with the Servant Coffin and rename your Servant there. You can also see the Servants stats and either kill him or summon him to the coffin. You can give equipment to the minion itself to increase its item level, this will be important later.
How to Give Orders to your Servants
If you have recently converted your minion, he will simply walk through your base and defend against invaders if necessary. To give him direct orders, you need a throne. To build this you need:
- 24 stone bricks
- 16 iron ingots
- 4 Greater Blood Essence
Once you have built the throne and interact with it, the Map you have revealed so far will open automatically. The specific locations, i.e. bandit camps or mines, that you have explored so far will be displayed as possible targets.
If you choose one of these targets, you can select 1 to 3 minions and start a mission. The higher the item level of your Servants, the more successful the mission. They can also die during a mission, so make sure you have good equipment. You can also set a timer for how long your servants should be on the move. This can be set in stages from 8 to 23 hours. The longer they travel, the more loot they bring with them.
Additional Info: The higher the level of your Castle Heart, the more servants you can own. However, each servant needs his own coffin.
