After the campaign and the normal multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have been officially released, many fans are waiting for the release of Warzone 2 and the new DMZ mode. To shorten the wait, the developers will allow several streamers to show gameplay during a live event in a few days.
What happened? On Twitter, several well-known CoD streamers have announced that they have been invited by Activision and Infinity Ward to an event where they will be allowed to play DMZ and Warzone 2. We summarize what exactly this is all about.

What’s the deal with the Modern Warfare 2 DMZ and Warzone 2 event?
Several CoD streamers have announced via Twitter, among other things, that they will get to play the new DMZ mode and Warzone 2 itself about a week before the official release. They will then present the whole thing to the community in a livestream on their respective channels on Twitch.

When exactly will the Reveal event take place? As the streamer ModernWarzone, among others, announced on Twitter, the streamers invited to the event will go online with corresponding livestreams on Twitch on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. The main focus will probably be on the new DMZ game mode.

What is DMZ Mode in Call of Duty & What to expect?
The DMZ mode will be based on the gameplay of Escape from Tarkov and will put players in a kind of survival sandbox on the Al Mazrah map. Each player can decide for themselves which objectives they want to pursue and when they want to leave the map. You can compete both alone and in teams with other players and fight against AI enemies and other players. When will DMZ mode and Warzone 2 be released? Both DMZ mode and Warzone 2 are scheduled to go live in Modern Warfare 2 on November 16, 2022. The DMZ mode is part of Warzone 2.
