What can You Expect from the Diablo 4 Beta?
During the Diablo 4 Beta, you have access to the story’s first chapter, including all the associated main and side quests. In addition, there is a world boss and, at the start of Early Access, 3 of the 5 classes.
These Classes are Available for Selection
Diablo 4 will provide 5 classes at release, all of which you can play during the beta. You can create a total of 10 characters to really try out all combinations. However, there is a small restriction:
- Early Access Beta
- Wizard
- Barbarian
- Hunter
- Open Beta
- Wizard
- Barbarian
- Hunter
- Druid
- Necromancer
So you see, the Necromancer and the Druid, both very popular classes among Diablo fans, will not be available at the start of the Early Access Beta. However, they will be available for the open beta the following weekend.
You can Expect the First Chapter of Diablo 4
Throughout the beta, you can play the prologue and the story’s first chapter. You can level up your characters to level 25 and defeat all side missions, dungeons, events and even a world boss.
- Level up to level 25 in the Shattered Peaks.
- Complete a main quest consisting of several acts.
- Complete 24 side quests.
- Complete 23 dungeons.
- Find 28 Altars of Lilith.
- Explore 83 areas.
- Conquer 3 bases.
- Find 7 waypoints.
- You can also defeat one of the world bosses named Ashava.
This is the World Boss you will Encounter
Ashava is the only world boss you can defeat during the beta. It is a huge hellhound, after whose victory you will be rewarded with rich loot. However, there is one decisive factor: the limited spawn time:
- March 18th at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 10 p.m., and midnight PDT
- March 25th at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 10 p.m., and midnight PDT
