One of the four tamable animals in the Early Access version of Smalland is the ladybug. You can tame it with the help of a travel kit, which allows you to have the ladybug by your side as a second inventory. This guide will show you how to craft the Travel Kit, where to find ladybugs, and how to tame them.
What this guide is about: The ladybug is one of the first tamable animals or insects already found in the game with the Early Access version of Smalland. Even though the ladybug can't be ridden, it has its advantages as a tamed beetle.
The ladybug in Grounded is a peaceful beetle that greets you at the beginning of the game. Even if you attack it, it won't attack you back; on the contrary, it will take flight after the first hit.
Weakness: Ladybugs generally have little life and are therefore defeated quickly with all weapons.
What you should know: Unlike the rest of the mounts, the ladybug isn't tamed with a treat, but by building the Ladybug Travel Kit. This turns him into your “pack mule” with an additional inventory.

Once you have made the workbench, you can use it to make the Ladybug Travel Kit. You will need to craft these materials for one copy:
After you have collected all the materials, you can craft the Ladybug Travel Kit at the workbench.
You can find the ladybug almost everywhere on the map, except on the beach, in the hornet area, and in the spider swamp. Especially in the beginning, you will encounter the peaceful little beetles.
Once you have your travel kit made and in your inventory, you can already start looking for a ladybug in one of the meadows. This should not take long, as there are heaps of them there. But be careful that the ladybugs are not already attacked by a bulldog ant, otherwise you will have to fight it. Then you proceed as follows:
You can then heal the damage you inflicted on the ladybug by dropping food in front of it. After that, you have a little helper by your side, that has space in its inventory that you can use. This is especially helpful when you're farming or need large amounts of materials; for building a base, for example.
Good to know: If the ladybug follows you as you go up into your tree base, it will also come with you and stand around in your base.
