Palworld, created by the Japanese developer Poketpair, is a survival sandbox game inspired by Pokémon. You can explore an open world alone or with friends, catch 'Pals', and make them fight and work for you. The Pals help in your self-built base by gathering resources, building structures, crafting items, or defending it. Your goal is to defeat 6 bosses with your Pals, each located in different towers, to get their badges.
Palworld will be released on January 19th, 2024 into Early Access, for PC and Xbox, available on Steam and the Xbox App. The Early Access is scheduled for a year.
Yes, Palworld will be available on Xbox Game Pass at release without additional cost.
No, currently there is no Crossplay between Xbox and PC players. Crossplay is planned for the future and will be introduced with one of the upcoming updates.

Palworld is approximately 40 gigabytes when installed. With a download size of 21 gigabytes, you only need to download about half. With an internet connection of 200 Mbps, it will take you 14 minutes to download.
