The relentless Souls-like role-playing game Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty takes you to the limit in battles, so you’ll always want the best possible armor on your hero. This guide will tell you which protective gear will get you through the early game the best.
Here’s the deal: You might think that the Soulslike Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty sends its heroes to the battlefield in pathetic rags, so that they can have even more “fun” with the game’s infernal creatures. But in the end, Wo Long is quite a bit friendlier than Elden Ring or Dark Souls, which beat their prisoners of punishment (a.k.a. “players”) to the bone until they get their first decent suit of armor.
In fact, in the dark fantasy RPG from the makers of Nioh, you can get your hands on some very decent body armor early on, and even entire armor sets. We think we found three of the best sets, because at least one of them even worked for us in the later game.
