In the recently released space extraction shooter Marauders, there are several main missions in addition to many daily missions. The Zero to Hero missions aren’t always self-explanatory, so here’s a guide to help you complete the missions.
That’s what it’s all about: In addition to the level, you can also see your progress in Marauders from the Zero to Hero mission chain. They unlock different skins and important items, so you shouldn’t underestimate the missions. While some missions are straightforward, some take forever to solve. So that you always know directly what you have to do for the next mission, you should read on.

All Missions of the Zero to Hero Quest line in Marauders
Below, we will list all the missions in the series and explain what you have to do to complete them. We refer you to a mission-only guide for more complicated and longer missions, so you can always keep track of the different missions here.
Caution: This guide is not complete at the time of publication. It will be expanded daily until all missions in the Zero to Hero series are completely listed.
Mission 1: Basic Resupply
You can finish the first mission without starting your first raid. All you have to do is scrap some of your items in the crafting area. This will give you the requested Scrap Junk. We have also already written about this quest in our Top 10 Starter Tips for Beginners.
Editor’s tip: It’s better to buy cheap armor and scrap it, as you’ll also get Synthetic Scrap that you’ll need later for crafting various items.
Mission 2: Repo Man
Already in the second mission, most players encounter the first problems. In the mission, you should find the “Asteroid Half Track Bike.” However, little is described the vehicle’s location and appearance. The bike can be found in the Iridium Asteroid Mine in the middle of the map. We also have the following detailed guide for you: Marauders: Asteroid Half Track Bike Location for Repo Man Contract.
Mission 3: Make Your Mark
For the third mission in Marauders, you have to defeat a total of 5 enemies. It doesn’t matter which weapon you use, which map you are on, or whether your opponents are other Marauders or AI units. The easiest way is probably to dock as quickly as possible and, depending on the map, just keep walking toward the middle. As long as not so many players are docked, you can defeat the AI opponents in peace and have completed this mission.
Mission 4: Stand Out
Like the previous third mission, you should send your opponents to the eternal hunting grounds. However, this time it must be other players. There are several ways to do this, either you dock quickly at the main area and run to the other docking bays to catch the players right at the start. Or you try to board other ships, there, you always have at least one player. But be careful, there can be more players on a ship.
Mission 5: Advanced Resupply
Here you have to collect and hand in eight large pieces of metal. If you’ve been busy gathering in the previous missions, you might already have everything you need in your camp. If you’re still missing some, keep an eye out for the blue tool boxes, there, you have a good chance of getting the metal plates. But you can also find something in garbage cans or boxes. The metal plates take up four slots in your inventory, so take a backpack with you if you plan to collect some. Also, only five of them can be stacked at a time.
Mission 6: Pirate Rank
As a small initiation rite, you should find and look at the engine of a merchant ship in this mission. To do this, you must find one of the said merchant ships in space and board it with your drop pod. You can easily recognize the merchant ships by their many drop pod bays and red lights. We already have a detailed guide for you: Marauders: The Great Merchant Ship Guide.
Mission 7: Guild Membership
To finally join the pirates, you should pay the entrance fee in the amount of one piece of silver. You can find this silver coin almost anywhere. On defeated AI opponents or in the pockets of the countless dead crew members. One of the surest ways to get one of the coins is to loot a safe. However, you need a lock pick for this and know where these safes are located. Another good point is the admin office on the spaceport map, if you don’t know where the office is, here we have a map guide: Marauders: The Spaceport Map Guide & All Quest Locations.
Mission 8: Scouting Party
In this mission, you should go to the Iridium Asteroid Mine and hold a certain area there for 90 seconds. All you have to do is go to the room where the blast furnace is located. You can get there if you don’t go down the ramp at the security area but go through one of the doors behind the vehicles at the end. First, you get to the canteen area, but if you walk further, you get to the blast furnace area. Here is the Guide for the Mine Map: Marauders: Iridium Asteroid Mine Map Guide & All Quest Locations
Mission 9: The Legend Begins
To complete The Legend Begins mission, you should defeat 20 AI opponents. But not just any AI opponents but some from the security service. You can find these on patrolling smaller ships, but there are usually only 3-6 enemies on board. Or you are looking for a merchant ship, we already explained how to find and recognize that in mission six.
Mission 10: Merchant Inspector
The next mission sends you onto a merchant ship again, this time, you’re supposed to find a marked container. This container is located in the lower part of a large storage compartment near the ship’s edge. The mark is a relatively small red line. Once you find him, you must hold down F for three seconds and complete the mission.
Mission 11: Major Tom
For this mission, you should destroy five radar towers. You can find them all over space. Not only are they easy to spot, but they also make a pretty distinct sound. Fly your ship close enough to hit them well, shoot a few bullets at the radar tower, and it’s destroyed. You probably won’t be able to destroy all five in one raid.
Editor’s tip: On the map Penal Colony Beta 5 and the Navy Outpost, there seems to be more radar and turrets.
Mission 12: Run Dry
Here you should find and hand over three boxes with rations. You’ve probably already stumbled across one of them. Small wooden boxes that take up 2×2 slots in your inventory. Inside are some military rations. You can find the crates in any container, but you seem to have a higher chance of finding them in kitchens and dining areas.
Mission 13: Behind The Lock
If you haven’t found a “Mine Token” before this mission, you’ll probably be stuck until you find one of these rare tokens. There is currently no information on whether the tokens can be found better or faster in certain places. If you already have a mine token, you must return to the blast furnace area of the Iridium Asteroid Mine. There is a door that says big depot. If you have the token with you, you can open it. Stay in the depot for 30 seconds and complete the mission.
Mission 14: Pirate Competition
Here, too, you should defeat other Marauders. We have already described the best ways to do this in Mission 4. This time a total of 8 players must go to your account. We recommend just doing this mission comfortably on the side. You will meet enough players anyway.
Mission 15: Cookie Monster
We are looking for three biscuit tins. Small containers that are one slot in size and hold multiple cookies. The easiest way to find them is in the various bar and canteen areas. You have a good chance of finding these in all metal food boxes and refrigerators.
Mission 16: Path Finder
As in Major Tom, you should again destroy buildings in space. This time, however, no radar towers but turrets. You can find these on all maps and easily spot them by shooting at any spaceship close to them. It is destroyed with a few well-aimed shots at the top of the tower. After a total of 7 destroyed towers, you have completed the mission.
Editor’s tip: On the map Penal Colony Beta 5 and the Navy Outpost, there seems to be more radar and turrets.
Mission 17: Vault Raider
This mission is one of the more complex tasks in Marauders. You should go to the vault on the map Terraformer and survive there for 90 seconds. You need a cutting torch, which you either have to find on the map or bring with you from the start. Vaults are usually highly competitive, so expect to meet other players along the way.
Mission 18: Government Issue
Once again, you should defeat several opponents. But this time, only with the 1911 pistol. In addition to players, you can also transport all NPCs to the afterlife for this mission. An easy way is to board a merchant ship. There are many NPCs there. Usually, only a maximum of one player comes along, and the opponents drop the required weapon and the appropriate ammunition. Also, they are not very well armored.
Editor’s tip: We have already linked a guide for the Merchant Ship here in the article.
Mission 19: Strike Team
Here you are to produce and deliver three M1 Flak Rigs. You must have unlocked the recipe for this. You also need 9x Synthetic Scrap, 3x Metal Scrap, and 3x Leather Strip. Crafting takes 45 seconds in total. The materials can not only be found but also obtained by dismantling equipment.
Mission 20: Station Invasion
Again you need to hold an area on a specific map. But this time, a whole 5 minutes, plus what is probably the most contested point of the spaceport. The bar is in the middle of the map and houses the best loot spots. That’s why you regularly meet players here, so you’ll probably have to defeat all opponents before you can take your five-minute break in the bar. We also have a detailed guide to Map Spaceport.
Mission 21: The Butcher
Armed with a bowie knife, you should fillet 15 opponents here. Not much to explain here, get a knife, run like crazy toward your opponents, and hope they miss. It is also important here that all types of opponents count, including NPCs.
Mission 22: Space Mechanic
For the Space Mechanic mission, you need valuable toolkits, 9 of them. However, you should have found and used these relatively rare items several times, as you also need them to craft the various boxes. You can find them particularly well in the blue toolboxes that can be found on all maps.
Mission 23: Hidden Stash
Here your task is to loot three of the hidden stashes. In addition to the location described in the mission, these are also on the Spaceport map, the Asteroid Mine, and the Terraformer. In the spaceport, the stash is under the giant spaceship on a dock for repairs. If you go to the back, there is a floor safe between the shelves.
Mission 24: Breach and Clear
An essential point of this mission is the trench gun. A semi-automatic shotgun that you will surely need several of during the mission. Your goal is to transport a total of 25 commando NPCs to the afterlife. The best way to do this is to go to the heavily protected frigates or the newer map Navy Outpost. Remember, because of the excellent armor. You should shoot for the head.
Mission 25: Nuclear Warfare
One of the tasks that every player in Marauders spends some time on. What sounds simple is challenging to implement. Thou shalt deliver nuclear material only once. However, it is scarce. The easiest way to find it is in the hidden stashes on all maps or in depots. For the latter, however, you need depot tokens, which are also rarely found in the lootable bodies. Also, you should note that nuclear material is 3×3 slots in size.
Better save these Items for the Zero to Hero Missions in Marauders
