The Viking co-op survival Valheim doesn’t explain many things to you and lets you try out a lot in its open game world. But to get better equipment, you also need tinn (tin). We’ll tell you how to get the ore.
You have to keep this in mind: Before you storm off to search for ores, you must first successfully defeat the first boss Eikthyr. Namely, it drops an important resource that will teach you how to make a pickaxe. Of course, you need them to mine the ores.

How to get Tin in Valheim
Tin can be easily found in Valheim. Equipped with the pickaxe, you go to the Black Forest and search for the waters there. You can find tin deposits in the form of shiny silver stones near water.
Now all you have to do is hit the small stones with your pickaxe until you have enough tin with you. You won’t be able to carry much of it around with you anyway, because 1 tin already weighs a lot. Compared to copper, however, you don’t need too much tin to make bronze, for example.
Useful tip: if you’ve already made a car, you can load it to the brim. If you’ve already built a portal and are thinking about teleporting from your base to the deposit, you’d better leave it alone. The valuable ore is lost during teleportation.
The next step would be to combine the found copper and tin and produce bronze from them. All you have to do is build the smelter and the forge, which you learn by mining copper and finding surtling cores.
