This is the Beelzebufo in ARK: Survival Evolved
Appearance: The Beelzebufo is a huge frog, which has a lot of little spikes on its back.
Wild: Although the Beelzebufo is a carnivore, it is a peaceful creature that won’t attack you out of the blue. However, if you attack him, he will respond with violence instead of fleeing. Its attacks can be a problem, as they can stun you. So don’t underestimate it.
Domesticated: If you have been able to tame a Beelzebufo, you will have a small mount that is fast on land, but also in the water. It can also jump about two walls high, which can be useful in mountainous areas. Its attacks have a stunning effect on its targets, while smaller targets are stunned much faster than larger ones. As a rider of Beelzebufo, you can also use your weapons whether you are on land or in water.
Another talent of the Beelzebufo is that it can farm cementing paste from insects. If you attack and kill one of the following insects, or farm their corpses, you will get up to 20x cement according to standard settings:
- Meganeura
- Titanomyrma
- Jug Bug
- Glow Bug

How to tame the Beelzebufo in ARK
How to hunt the Beelzebufo: To avoid the Beelzebufo’s stunning attacks, you should pin it down with a bola first, which you can easily do since the Beelzebufo does not have an aggressive temperament. Once you have it pinned down, shoot at it until it is unconscious.
Beelzebufos spawn on many maps in the swamp biomes, where also creatures like Titanoboas and Sarcos, etc. live. It’s not a very good idea to tame it right there, for obvious reasons, which is why you just grab it with an Argentavis and drop it into a taming pen, that is built in a safer place, where you can shoot it unconscious.
How to tame it: Once it’s unconscious, put Kibble or Meat in its inventory and wait for it to eat it, which leads to taming it. To keep the stun value high while taming, it is best to use Narcoberries or Narcotics.

How to breed Beelzebufos in ARK
This is how you prepare the breeding: If you have a male and female specimen, you build an enclosure that is large enough. Put both dinos in the pen and set them to “wander” via the command menu. Alternatively, you can also switch directly to “Pair”, but then there must always be a player nearby, otherwise, the pairing will stop due to the rendering.
The breeding interval of a Beelzebufo is 18 to 48 hours.
How to Hatch Eggs: When you get a fertilized Beelzebufo Egg from a successful mating, the hatching begins. For hatching, the ambient temperature of the egg should be between 0 °C and 50 °C and within the Egg-Incubator at 25 °C. According to standard settings, the small Beelzebufo baby hatches after about 5 hours. After that, it needs about 4 hours of your attention, during which you must keep putting food in its inventory.
Once it gains juvenile status, it can feed from troughs on its own. The entire ripening time takes about 1 day and 13 hours.
